Colours are powers!
Colour
enriches the whole world and our perception of it. Colour exerts an
extremely powerful influence on our minds and emotions. It has a profound
effect on our lives, and the belief that colour can heal is found in
most ancient cultures, and has been proved to be true, over thousands
of years of trials.
All
colours have 'properties' and serve as an important guide when
used for healing. In fact they are important tools in healing. The healing
power of colour can be used to heal imbalances of both mind and body.
Or, to improve - focus - or stimulate natural latent skills and abilities.
RED
[energy - stimulating]
Of all colours,
although it has the lowest vibrational rate in the colour spectrum,
red is the most powerful, and should be used carefully and wisely. It
is a dominating and very healing colour. Red is an arousing and stimulating
colour and represents stability and the power to achieve your dreams.
It heals the creative and reproductive systems, stimulates blood circulation
and the flow of adrenaline. Its energy stimulates courage and confidence.
ORANGE
[joy]
Orange is for confidence. It relates to friendliness, creativity and
intuition and governs the sense of self worth. A warm and stimulating
colour and good to wear if there is a need to feel energised, it is
also the colour of vitality. In its more vivid form, orange is sometimes
experienced as enervating or confrontational. Stimulates the production
of new ideas. Expands the mind and assists in coping with everyday life
and career. It helps to remove blocks, repression's and inhibitions.
Also known to aid digestion and assimilation of vitamins and minerals.
YELLOW
[Detachment / openness]
Like orange, yellow is a warm colour, associated with the mental body
and the life-giving power of the sun. The colour of happiness and optimism,
yellow is also seen as a healing colour. It is used to promote warmth
and is thought to stimulate the nervous system and is helpful when doing
work or study which involves memorising facts - a good colour to have
on your desk or in your study or office. It stimulates intellectual
processes. Also aids in body functions life elimination, and intestine,
pancreas, liver functions. Helps to balance the adrenals and aids diabetes.
Restores skin health.
GREEN
[Balance and equilibrium]
Like red, green is also a powerful healing colour. It is the colour
of balance, calm and compassion. A soothing colour, green also represents
inner peace and harmony. It aids energy balance. Heals the heart and
circulatory system. Known to help promote giving, sharing and helping
others. The balancing qualities and in adaptation and "fitting in".
It helps heal pain which comes from devastating emotional experiences.
BLUE
[relaxing]
Blue is the most healing of all colours. The colour of wisdom, truth
and integrity and is associated with the sky. It moderates energy and
represents a calm mental image and relaxes the whole body. Used in conjunction
with turquoise, it is refreshing and cooling. Turquoise is more specialist
[immunity] and rare in its applications and particularly valuable in
strengthening the ability to communicate in large groups. Blue fights
infections, attacks and heals fevers and sore throats.
VIOLET
(Indigo) [dignity / self-respect]
Violet has the highest vibrational rate in the sevenfold spectrum of
colour and is the meeting of two worlds - the blue is relaxing while
the red is stimulating. It is also the colour of the ray of transformation,
change and upliftment. A less common colour, it is deeply spiritual
and also allows self-identification. Thought to be the colour of conscious/subconscious
balance, creative thinking and stability of spirit/body, and is the
colour of emperors and royalty - deep, rich and regal. It can lead to
spiritual peace. Can calm excitable/irritable people - physically it
helps to heal tumours, insomnia and brain dysfunction. It develops psychic
perception and intuitive powers. Physically, it aids in the healing
of eyes, ears, nose and sinuses. Can also help to address mental problems.
MAGENTA
[dissolving / letting go]
A colour that should not be used frequently, magenta draws man into
spiritual awareness. Used mainly in the mature patient, magenta is used
to increase composure and individuality.
ROSE
(Pink) [love / empathy]
An extremely important colour is rose/pink. Directly associated with
love and emotions, it has a very calming influence on the emotional
level. It helps in the treatment of people with traumas and relationship
problems.
GOLD
Gold promotes a greater awareness of God. It brings knowledge that you
have the ability to achieve your life's purpose. Gold symbolises the
power of the sun and sacredness, as well as purity.
WHITE
White stones are receptive and often worn for protection. They are intimately
linked with sleep. Also considered to be lucky stones and are worn or
carried to promote good fortune. White symbolises both innocence and
perfection.
